Gillie Beans Fashion Show

A huge thank-you to Joanne Anderson and Anne Little for organizing another fantastic fashion show.  It was a great 'girls night out' and we raised just over $2000.00!  Thankyou to all of the models and to Tragically Hipp Lakefield and Jockey Person to Person Fashions.  Thank-you as well to the mangement, staff and residents of Cantenbury Gardens for the venue.  Check back in early summer for the the 2014 Fashion Show details!

 Kiddie Proofers Car Seat Clinic

We would like to thank Kiddie Proofers of Durham for hosting this great event, and for involving the Gillie Beans FUNd!  This event was a great day in the community meeting young families! Marissa Berthelot (Gillian's baby sister) attended her first Gillie Beans Event at 7 days old! Thanks to Sandi and all of the staff at Kiddie Proofers for making this such a great event for us and for helping us to 'Find a Cure, One Jelly Bean at a Time', by raising $600.00 through this car seat clinic!  We look forward to working with Kiddie Proofers again in the future!  

2013 Buckhorn Market- Gillie's Fudge Factory

Once again, Joanne (Gillian's Grandmother) sold baked goods and fudge at the Buckhorn Market every Tuesday this summer.  Besides meeting a lot of great people, she was able to raise $1969.95 by selling baked goods!  Way to go Grandma!!  Thanks to everyone who came out to the market to support the Gillie Beans FUNd.  We will be back next year and look forward to seeing everyone next summer!

2012 Events

Gillie Beans Fashion Show - October 23rd!

The Second Annual Jellybeans and Fashions was sold out again this year!  This event was held at Canteberry Gardens in Peterborough.  A huge congratulations and Thank-you to Joanne Anderson and everyone who was involved!  We raised $2319.53 for Rhabdomyosarocma Research at this event!! 

Thank-you to all of our models and to the Tragically Hipp in Lakefield and Lorraine Leonard Lines for providing all of the fashions for the evening.  Thank-you to everyonje who came out to support this great event in Peterborough!  

Zumba for Gillie Beans

Thanks to COREessentials Fitness, who hosted the Zumba for Gillie Beans eventon Sunday August 26, 2012, along with Zumba Education Specialist Amanda Grant and an incredible line-up of Zumba instructors.

We raised over $1300.00 for Sick Kids! We had a wonderful day with some amazing instructors! Thanks COREessentials Fitness for all your ongoing suppor and a very special thank you to all who joined us!

2011 Events

Our two main events held this year were the Gillie Beans FUNd Day and The Gillian Berthelot 2^nd Annual Golf Invitational held in August (please see the pull-down "Events" tab for more information). Thanks to so many people who have partnered with The Gillie Beans FUNd this year, we have held many successful events in addition to our two main events. These events include: Zumba for Gillie Beans, The Gillie Beans Fashion Show and Belly Dancing for Gillie Beans. Please see below for more information about these events.
